Sure, but the collateral truth is I'll still be improving the code and recompiling, right up till delivery. Just as long as the penultimate version tests out OK, I cannot resist that naive belief that perfection is just one modification away. Just one more tweek.
So why is it so unsatisfying to submit a project that is not as good as planned, even if it meets specs? Maybe if I remembered what else there was to life beyond the keyboard, I might appreciate being DONE more.
Being done means moving on to the next coding project, right?
